About Melissa
Melissa Krause resides in the Fort Worth area of Texas. She studied Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California, and has worked creatively for nearly three decades acquiring practical knowledge that enhances her design style.
She was a design consultant for several years in a custom frame shop in Napa, California, where some of her customers included high profile Hollywood personalities.
Melissa also used her creative abilities in floral design and event planning in Napa, California. While part of the floral design team at an exclusive floral shop, her work was featured at several of the finest restaurants and wineries in the Napa Valley. Later she operated her own floral design business focusing primarily on creating floral arrangements for weddings in the Napa Valley and the San Francisco Bay area.
In the Washington, DC, area Melissa acquired several years of experience working with a firm whose clients have included the U.S. Department of State, and whose work has been published in Chesapeake Home magazine. Here she gained skill designing window treatments using a wide array of fabrics and hardware.
Melissa enjoys combining her creative talents with the skills she has honed from her years of varied experience in order to create beautiful interiors for her clients. She's eager to hear from you to discuss your design needs!
